Donna Lou Ragle Hollingsworth, aged 76, died peacefully in the early morning on March 16, 2015, in the Homestead Assisted Living in Rexburg, Idaho, after a 5 1/2 year struggle with dementia.
Donna was born January 20, 1937 in Monrovia, California, the daughter of Adelaide Fish and Delmar David Ragle. Sister to four boys Delmar Jr., Lawrence, Lincoln, John, and Grant.
Donna graduated from El Monte High School and married Herman Duffer and bravely made her way to France where she had her first born David Keith Duffer. Two more sons followed: Dennis Scott Duffer, and Daniel Steven Duffer. Later she remarried Duane Ferguson adding a step-daughter, Janet McCoy and her two youngest children Jennifer Fischbuch and Duane Ronald Ferguson II. Donna married a third time to William Jack Hollingsworth and moved south to Louisiana and then Texas remaining married to him until his death in 2010.
Donna excelled at sewing, knitting, quilting, tatting, Brazilian embroidery, machine embroidery, french hand-sewing, doll making, teddy bear making; in addition to being an excellent baker making a sundry of homemade rolls and pies.
Donna was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in callings with the Relief Society and Primary.
She is survived by her eight grand children Nicole Manning, Madeline Folk, Lauryn Duffer, Brett Fischbuch, Joshua Fischbuch, Bryce Ferguson, Hailey Ferguson, and Kyle Ferguson; as well as,her two great-children Travis and Katherine Manning.
