Dorothy Enid McCulloch Ashliman Angell, 91, of St Anthony, ID, passed away on December 20, 2013 in St. Anthony at the Homestead Assisted Living Center.

Dorothy was born in Rexburg, ID to Orville McCulloch & Enid Fay Scow on March 30th 1922. She attended Rexburg schools graduating from Madison High.

She spent several years in California working in a juice bar. She met and married Ivan Spencer Ashliman in 1945. They lived in Rexburg and Idaho Falls before moving to Eugene, Oregon for several years. In 1958 they moved to Riverside, CA where they resided for many years with their 5 children. After retirement Dorothy & Ivan returned to Rexburg, Idaho until Ivan's death in 1995. She met and married Pete Angell in 1997 where they spent 15 happy years in St. Anthony.

Dorothy had a great love for little children, animals, flowers & plants. She loved to dance, read, and collect mementos. She was a lifetime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of LDS. She was also a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She was well loved my many and will be greatly missed.

Dorothy is survived by daughters Enid Prins-Kushner (Ron), Corinne Ashliman, Jill Boatman-Near, and son, John Scott Ashliman (Sherry). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Dorothy is preceded in death by Ivan Ashliman (husband), Pete Angell (husband), Ron Spencer Ashliman (son).

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, Decemeber 28th 2013 at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 at the funeral home prior to services. Interment will be in the Rexburg Cemetery.
