Our loving son, brother, uncle, grandson, and friend, Dylan James Lewis, passed away tragically from an asthma attack on Saturday, August 31, 2024, in Rexburg, Idaho. Dylan was born on February 14, 2003, in Mesa, Arizona, to Teresa Walko and Jay Lewis. He came into the world as a handsome, quiet, blue-eyed baby boy, whose smile could light up the room. He was the second to youngest and looked up to all his siblings throughout his life.

Dylan attended kindergarten through second grade in Mesa, Arizona, before moving to Rexburg, Idaho in 2011. He was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Dylan continued to work hard through school and graduated from Central High School in 2021.

Dylan was a wild, funny, and goofy kid with a great personality. He was always willing to help those around him, especially his mom out in the yard. He loved teasing those around him and loved to joke with his family and friends. Dylan stood out in the room and people were always drawn to him and his contagious laughter.

Dylan had the biggest heart. He loved hard and was very protective of those in his close circle. Dylan was full of life and really did live his life to the fullest.

Dylan spent his free time listening to music, rapping, collecting all kinds of hats, and riding his e-bike. Over the years, he also enjoyed playing basketball and football. Dylan found joy in getting his hands dirty by working in landscaping and fishing.

Dylan is survived by his loving parents, Teresa and Jay, his siblings Lesli, Wesley, Kendra (Anthony), Lynzie, and Brennen; grandparents Nancie and Woody Lewis, and Judy Forsythe; many nieces and nephews, uncles and aunts, and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Andrew and his grandpa Kenneth Christensen.

A viewing for Dylan will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg, Idaho. The funeral will be held on Monday, September 9, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., at the Mill Hollow Chapel, 315 Gary Drive, Rexburg, Idaho, with a viewing from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to service. Interment will be at the Sugar City Cemetery.

Dylan's presence in our home and hearts will be forever missed. We love you AZ Boy!
