Edith Ann Shaw Page, 83, died Tuesday, November 22, 2011 Homestead Assisted Living Center in Rexburg. She was born February 24, 1928 at Pleasant View, Utah to Elizabeth Johns and William Henry Shaw, the eighth of nine children. She married Morris Morton Page on August 2, 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He died in 1996.
She graduated from Ogden High School and earned an Associates of Nursing degree from Solono Community College in Fairfield, California. She also earned a Bachelors of Nursing from Sacramento State and a Masters of Social Science from Utah State University in Logan, Utah.
She was a public health nurse, home health nurse and hospital nurse, psychiatric nurse and a teaching nurse and a dialysis nurse in the Uintah Basin and California Bay area.
Most of her adult life was spent in Fairfield, California and Roosevelt, Utah with her last fifteen years in Rexburg and at the Fairwinds Retirement Center in Idaho Falls.
She is survived by her children; Morrine Abercrombee of Pocatello, Ruth (Gordon Roy) Harrop of Rexburg, Joseph (Rhonda) Page of Stayton, Oregon, James Dee Page of Salem Oregon, 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter LeeAnn and eight siblings.
