Elma Reish

Elma DeAnn (Dee) Gibson Reish was born on November 10, 1940 to Darrel E. Gibson and Zola Stevens Gibson in Newdale, Idaho, she passed away on April 29, 2026.

Elma (Dee) is loved and treasured by her family, friends and all who knew her. She had a very kind heart and sparkling spirit. She was a wonderful Mother, very proud, loving grandmother and Great grandmother. As well as a loving, devoted wife to husband Stephen for 63 years. She will be deeply missed.

Elma is survived by her spouse Stephen D. Reish, children Starlene, Kasey, Susan, and future son-in-law Clark. Her brother Douglas R Gibson and sister-in-law Sandra Gibson. Grandchildren Mark W, David J, Kristen M, 6 great grandchildren, as well as her niece and nephew and many many cousins.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 14, from 5:00 pm- 7:00 pm at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg. Later a Celebration of life will be held July 10th at 580 Church St. In Newdale, Idaho and the Newdale fireworks show that night.
