Epifania Corranza, 80, of Sugar City, passed away on October 23, 2021.

She was born on October 4, 1941 in El Palmarejo Durango, Mexico, where she and her husband, Nicolas Astorga raised 9 kids while living off the land.

They immigrated to the United States in 2000, moving to Sugar City, Idaho where she lived out the rest of her life caring for all of her daughters, grandkids, great-grandkids and everyone who had the blessing of being able to be around her.

She is survived by her husband, Nicolas Astorga; children, Nicolasa Astorga, Graciela Astorga, Josefina Astorga, Quintin Astorga, Geronima Astorga and Verna Astorga.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ventura Samano; father, Vincente Carranza.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Flamm Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Monday, November 1, 2021 at Flamm Funeral Home.
