On Thursday, November 4, 2021, Ernest L Profitt (Ernie), loving and kind husband, father, brother and uncle was called home by the Lord at the age of 55. Ernest was born December 25, 1966, In Jenkins Kentucky, to Jason Lewis Benge and Bertha Jean (Honeycutt) Profitt.

Ernest Graduated from J.J. Kelly High School in Wise Va, in 1985. While in school Ernest was involved with the baseball and wrestling team and found his love of cooking in the culinary vocational classes he took.

Ernest was actively involved with his Church and his church's Boy Scout program and enjoyed every minute spent in scouting events. Ernest and Shauna met at church and became good friends. They fell in love and were married in Nampa, Idaho May 27, 2006.

Ernest was a voracious reader and loved fiction and nonfiction alike, as well as model making. Ernest loved the outdoors and fishing and enjoyed walking in nature as well as whittling. Ernest loved wrestling and would often be found watching with his kids and his nieces and nephews. Ernest loved spending time with his family and his many nieces and nephews.

Ernest was Preceded in death by his parents; his older Brothers, James "Gomer" Profitt, Chester L. Profitt and George R.  Profitt; his sisters Sylvia Profitt Hall Carter, Audria J. Grant, Bertha M. Branham, Patricia A. Benge and Jennifer cope.

Ernest is survived by his wife Shauna Profitt; his sister Minnie J. McFall of Wise, VA; and brothers Charles W. Profitt of Norton, VA, and Jason L Benge, Jr. of Indianapolis, IN; a daughter and two sons, Desirae Profitt, Jesse Profitt and Kristopher Arrington and Multiple much loved nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
