On March 2, 2025, our sweet mother and grandmother, Esther Easton Larson, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family.

Esther was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  She spent her early life in Pittsburgh with loving family, including her parents, her sister Eleanor, and many other aunts and uncles.  In high school, she was an energetic cheerleader, and after high school she attended college, where she earned her secretarial degree.

While working as a secretary, Esther took a trip to Utah to tour the National parks.  It was there that she met her future husband, Olle Larson.  Olle was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He taught Esther the gospel and she was later baptized a member of the Church.  Esther and Olle were married on June 18, 1955, in Pittsburgh, and were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.  Married for over 57 years, they were blessed with four children, six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Esther served faithfully in her Church.  Living for many years in Michigan, Esther and Olle were leaders in their small Church congregation.  Many people have called Esther "blessed" for her fine and loving service.  Later in life, Esther and Olle moved to Idaho to be near some of their grandchildren.  Esther continued to serve in the Church and spent many hours gathering family history records and doing genealogical indexing work to gather family history information for many others.  Esther was a talented baker and cook, often sharing her creative results with family and friends.

Esther was preceded in death by her husband, G. Olof Larson, her parents, Harry and Esther Easton, and her sister Eleanor Easton Crouch.

Esther is survived by family who love her, including her children, Linda M. Larson, Virginia (Gini) Larson Munroe, Eleanor L. Christman, and Lars E. Larson; her six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  Her great-grandchildren have always called her "Grandma-great".

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. in the Rexburg East Stake Center, 387 South 4th East, Rexburg, Idaho.  A graveside burial service will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Rexburg Cemetery.
