Ethan Boone Nelson left us too soon on August 15, 2023 in Salt Lake City Utah at Primary Children's Hospital.

Ethan was born May 19, 2017 in Rexburg, Idaho, along with his twin sister, Evelyn. Ethan led a happy and full life despite being born with some health complications. He had an infectious enthusiasm and an absolute JOY for life. You couldn't help but smile when he was around. Boone lived life full out and was curious to the Nth degree. If he learned about something new, he wanted to know everything about it!  A few of his favorite things included pirates, ships, volcanoes, sea monsters, sharks, dinosaurs, and playing queen and king with his twin sister Evelyn. He was all set to start first grade at Henry's Fork Elementary, although he made it clear that he'd much prefer to stay home and ride his dirt bike than go to school. You'd rarely find him without his cowboy hat and boots. Anyone who knew Ethan knew him as an upbeat and happy little man, who met whatever life threw at him with a smile. We felt like everything about him was just remarkable and there will be a hole in our hearts that will be saved just for him.

Ethan is survived by his dad Amos and his mom Alisha, his siblings Sydnee, Kip, twin sister Evelyn, and Lydia, grandparents Sharon Mahrt, Rhonda Smith, and Larry (Ana) Nelson, along with aunts, uncles, and cousins ~ all who loved him dearly.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday August 25 at the St. Anthony 2nd Ward Building 145 E 1st N. St. Anthony, ID. The family will receive family and friends on the previous evening Thursday August 24, 6 p.m.to 7:30 p.m. at the same location and again prior to the services from 12 p.m. to  12:45 p.m.
