Eva Nell Stathos had a full and prosperous life, living to the age of 91. She was born on 5 March 1926 and raised in Memphis, TN.

She was the 8th of 10 siblings. She became a nurse and joined the U.S. Air Force, where she met her husband, Theodore Louis Stathos and they were married in Roswell, New Mexico. She had two children, Christopher and Tracy. When her children were grown, Eva returned to the nursing profession, working for over 20 years at Queen of the Valley Hospital in Napa, CA.

In 1994, Eva and Ted moved to St. Anthony, ID where she resided until 2006. She then moved to Spring Valley, CA to live with her son, Chris and daughter in law Mary. In July of this year, she moved back to Rexburg, ID to be near her daughter Tracy and her family; residing at Homestead Assisted Living due to her failing health. Eva passed away on Sunday, 24 September 2017.

She was preceded in death by her husband Theodore, on 11 Nov. 2001 and a grandson Tyler James Rasmussen.

She is survived by her sister Earlyne Gonzales and her brother Hudson R. (Bill) Williams; her son Chris (Mary) Stathos residing in Spring Valley, CA. and daughter Tracy (Joe) Rasmussen residing in Rexburg, ID, 4 grand Children, Shannen (John) Thompson, Rebecca (Daniel) Fricker, Jeremy Beau (Stephanie)Rasmussen, Tina (Nick) Leishman, and 11 great grand children: Braedon Jackson, Nash and Aydn Thompson; Ozden, Mac and Owen Leishman; James Conrad, Conner Bryce, Alexis Kay, Jay Bridger and Dani Lynn Rasmussen.

The services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Flamm Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Teton-Newdale Cemetery with military rites.
