IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Evan
Worrell
January 27, 1960 – August 3, 2025
Evan Lane Worrell, 65, died August 3, 2025 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born January 27, 1960 to Helen Leone Haroldsen and Harry Kephart Worrell in Saint Anthony, Idaho.
Evan attended schools in Saint Anthony, Idaho. He also attended classes at Ricks College. He loved participating in shop classes where he worked on cars. He was very mechanically minded and liked pulling things apart to see how they worked. He was a very talented welder and built his own farm equipment including trailers, spray rigs and grain carts.
When his father passed away unexpectedly, he took over the family farm at the young age of 23. He put his life and soul into the farm to keep his father's dream alive and the farm going. Evan's favorite place was the farm.
Evan met Donna Bauer, at a young adults activity in 1984. They started dating shortly after that. They were married on February 7, 1987 and made their home in Saint Anthony. They were blessed with five children and, eventually, eight grandchildren. Of all the roles Evan cherished, being a grandpa was among his most treasured.
He is survived by his wife Donna, of 37 years, his children Elizabeth (Destry) Orr, Harry Evan (Shandell), Alison Kay, Amy Lynette, and Teri Dawn(Jake) Hanson, and 8 grandchildren, Brevan, Tenley, Rhett, Bexley, Raegan, Royce, Jace, and Kash. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Anthony LDS Stake Center, 247 E. 4th N. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. both times at the Stake Center. Burial will be in the Wilford Cemetery under the direction of Bert Flamm Mortuary.
Evan will be remembered for his quiet strength, unwavering devotion to his family, and his deep love for the land he worked. He leaves behind a legacy of integrity, hard work, and love that will continue to inspire all who knew him.
