Evelyn Clark Smith, age 72 passed away on March 29, 2025 at her home in St. Anthony.

She was born September 10, 1952, the daughter of Gerald and Amy Roberts Clark.

She attended school in St. Anthony and graduated from South Fremont High School in 1970.  After her graduation she married Aaron Mains. They were later divorced. Evelyn moved to Salt Lake City and worked  as a metallurgist for Sperry Corporation. She married Ron Smith in Salt Lake and they were divorced. Evelyn had no children.

After leaving Salt Lake she lived in Rigby and Teton, where she had many friends, and she was very fond of the people in the Teton Ward, who were always so kind and helpful during her illnesses.   She moved to St. Anthony in 2023, where she was often visited by school friends and members of St. Anthony 3rd Ward  Relief Society. Evelyn suffered from COPD and  heart failure. She was under the care of BRiO Home Health and Hospice. The family thanks them for all the care she received. The family also gives special thanks to her neighbor, Louise Smith for all the help she gave to Evelyn.

Evelyn is survived by her brother, Lee (Kathy) Clark, and sisters Debra Clark and Angela Gifford and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Kathy Roberts.

Evelyn had requested that there be no funeral service. Final arrangements were under the direction of Bert Flamm Mortuary.
