Gail Allan Mason, 61, passed away at his home in Rexburg.  He was born January 28, 1963 in St. Anthony, Idaho, to Jean and Emerson Mason.

Gail had a passion for classic cars, and spent much of his life working in the automotive industry with his life-long best friend, Vance Hill.  Later in life he moved into the construction industry.  Gail was an avid worker, and a loyal employee.

Gail was an avid sports fan, with his favorite teams being the Boise state Broncos and the L.A Rams. He also enjoyed attending Nascar races with his siblings, and cheering on his favorite driver, Kurt Bush. Among his love for sports, he also enjoyed spending his free time fishing, hunting, and spending time with his closest friends.

He is survived by his siblings, Julie Mason High of Wendell, Idaho, Larry Mason of Mesquite, Nevada, Neil Mason of Ashton, Idaho, and Reta Larson of Hermiston, Oregon, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and grandparents.

Gail will be greatly missed by his family and close friends.  Per his wishes, there are no funeral services being planned.  A memorial celebration will be announced at a later date.
