Our dear husband, father, and grandfather Gale Dean Reeser passed away on Monday, September 17, 2018 in Idaho Falls sounded by his family. Gale was born September 5, 1940 in Nampa, Idaho to Cecil Vilas Reeser and Lillian Mae Burman Reeser. Gale was the second of two sons born to Cecil and Mae.

He attended schools in Albany, Oregon and graduated from Albany Union High School in 1958. Gale graduated from Ricks College and Utah State University. He later earned his Master's Degree in Library Science from Kansas State Teachers College in Emporia, Kansas.

While at Ricks College, Gale met and fell in love with Cheryl Valentine of Salem, Idaho. They were married in the Logan Temple on December 18, 1959. They were blessed with four children. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints serving in a variety of callings including Bishop and temple ordinance worker. Gale served with his wife Judy as missionaries in Laie, Hawaii, and as Church and Family History missionaries in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Gale enjoyed woodworking, hiking, reading, and spending time with his family at the cabin he built himself in Island Park. He had an impressive collection of rare books, and enjoyed opportunities to travel to visit his family.
