Steve Garth Miller, 56, of Idaho Falls, died Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Intermountain Health Center in Utah. He was born February 23, 1961 in St. Anthony, Idaho to Lawrence Wallace and Ruth Rudd Miller.
He attended schools in St. Anthony graduating from South Fremont High School. After high school he went on to Easter Idaho Vocation College and earning a welding degree. He later went to Idaho State University where he earned an associates degree in accounting.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
During his life he lived in the Parker, Idaho Falls and Rexburg communities. During his career he served on the Development Workshop Board of Directors, with the Rexburg Chamber of Commerce and with the Madison Economic and Development Company. He retired as the President of Artco.
He enjoyed traveling and golf.
He was married to Holly Henry, they divorced in 1985. He later married Beverly Miller, they divorce in 2014.
He is survived by his children, Gabrielle Hymas of Rigby and Gavin Edward Miller of Rexburg as well as two granddaughters; Jersey and Finnley Hymas. He is survived by his siblings; Patricia Laurence, Idaho Falls, Betty (Ron) Christensen of Idaho Falls, Donna (Lynn) Jephson of West Valley, Utah, LaRue (Lanny) Wilding of Idaho Falls and Pauline Sanchez of Colton, California. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Marcie Romrell of Idaho Falls.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers; Gordan and Gary, and a nephew, Alan Jephson.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 1st at the Rexburg East Stake Center, with Bishop Gary Baird officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at Flamm Funeral Home and again from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment will be in the Parker Cemetery.
