Gary Lee Farley, age 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 10, 2021, at his home in Saint Anthony, Idaho, due to natural causes.

Gary was born July 15, 1944, in Saint Anthony, Idaho. He was the first born in a set of twins out of five children.

He married his sweetheart Sylvia Ann Bakula Gould on May 22, 1964 at his grandparents house in Parker, Idaho.

Gary was called to serve his country in 1967 in the Vietnam War. He served as a Squad Leader and was later promoted to Platoon Sargent in the 116th Combat Engineers Battalion.

He was a jack of all trades and master of them all. He enjoyed camping with his kids. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

He is preceded in death by: his father, George Lawrence Farley; mother, Verna Lee Huff Farley Ward; brother, Lawrence Irvin "Champ)" Farley; brother-in -law Eugene Simpson; infant son, Gary Wade Farley; daughter-in-law, Tamara Richards Farley; granddaughters, Jennifer Lott Gronewold and Camie Rae Lott.

He is survived by: his wife Sylvia and 3 sisters: Twin sister Georgia Farley Simpson; Ula Farley Harris Winkle; Debra Farley Moon Terell Limb; five children, Bud (Sheila) Gould, Danny (Deverie) Gould, Annette (Jeff) Lott, Tammy (Bert) Sanders, Jade Farley and grandson Wyatt Farley, 17 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Anthony 4th Ward Chapel, 507 W. 2nd N. St. Anthony, ID. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Bert Flamm Mortuary, 581 E. 1st N., St. Anthony, ID, and again on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Parker Cemetery with military rites by the St. Anthony Veterans and the Idaho Honor Guard.
