Gary Lynn McRae was born on September 26, 1965 he passed away on Sunday in the comfort of his own home on March 10, 2024.

Gary was raised in Burton by his parents Skip and LaRue McRae. He grew up raising cows and farming with his family. He continued to live and raise his family on the family farm.

Gary was a chemical applicator for most of his life, with his son Seth by his side, he started his own applicator business in 2015. He was a loving, supportive and protective husband and father, who did anything he could to help his family and grandchildren.

He looked forward to spending as much time with his children and grandchildren as possible, feeding them full of sugar to send them home. While teaching them how to do tasks along the way.

We all will miss his snappy humor and jokes. He was always full of wisdom and guidance with anything you needed. He is so greatly missed and his memories will forever be cherished.

Gary is survived by his wife, Teri McRae,his children Zakary McRae, Lindsey (Kodie Wheeler) McRae, Seth (Emma Remington) McRae and Kelsey (Hunter) Jones and his grandchildren, Holden Jones, Kooper Jones, Remington Jones, Jaxton Brown, Hudson Brown, Oaklynn Wheeler, Fynlea Remington, and Harper Saiz.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Skip McRae, and LaRue McRae and his nephew Bobby McRae.

Services will be held 12:00 noon, Friday, March 15, 2024 at 3936 W. 5200 S. Rexburg.  Interment will be in the Burton Cemetery.
