Gay Tucker, 82 of Teton,Died June 5, 2014 at her home surrounded by family.
Another angel received her wings as our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend Gay Tucker transcended to the other side.
She was born in St. Anthony, Idaho on December 30, 1931 to Al and Bea Fausett. St. Anthony is where she spent the majority of her life growing up with five siblings; this was a major contribution to her learning to love cooking and serving others.
Early on she learned how important it was to get lost in the good book and listen to beautiful music. These became a passion and she could often be found at the library finding her new selection or tapping her foot to her favorite song.
Gay graduated as the valedictorian for the South Fremont Class of 1949. Then she met the love of her life and best friend, Mark Tucker. In October of 1951, they married and moved to Teton, Idaho where she spent the remainder of her life.
She enjoyed raising their two children Barbara and Boyd. They had a farm where she could often be found working as hard if not harder than Mark. She loved her family and wanted to spend as much time with extended family and grandkids as possible. She was an inspiration of kindness and sincerity; she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Gay is survived by her husband Mark, sister Joy Luekenga, children Barbara (Carol) Keller, Boyd (Stacie) Tucker, grandchildren Mark (Tawnya) Keller, Adam (Dee Dee ) Tucker, Carissa Tucker, Joe (Brooke) Keller and great grandchildren Brandon, Alyssa, Brooklyn Keller, Addee and Olly Tucker and Elliot Keller.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Swede Fausett, Bud Fausett, sisters Virginia Wasson, Gwen Botterbush.
Services will be held Wednesday June 11, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Bert Flamm Mortuay, 581 E. 1st N., St. Anthony. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am 10:45 a.m. at the Mortuary. Interment will be in the Teton-Newdale Cemetery.
