Our treasured and beloved Geneva Francis Murray age 78, passed away quickly on October 11, 2017, in Rexburg Idaho. Geneva, "Jenny" was born January 18, 1939 in Port Angeles Washington. She was the daughter of George Stanley Palmer and Lena Mae Goodman.

Jenny will always be remembered as a person true to herself and the principles that guided her life. She was often described by those she loved as a "spitfire", who chose to live life on her own terms. She was never afraid to state her calculated opinion but always followed with her unconditional love. Jenny was a beautiful lady and loving friend with a sense of humor, a hard worker who overcame many obstacles to become a nurse; and an engaging story teller. She enjoyed the outdoors and had a great love for animals. Her hobbies included gardening, watching sports, reading, and spending time with her family who meant the world to her.

She is survived by her foster sister JoAnne Laugallies; sons, James (Tasia) Johnson, David (Rebecca) Johnson, Joseph (Cricket) Sandbakken; stepsons, Douglas Murray and Craig Murray; 22 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren; and a host of friends.

Jenny was proceeded in death by her parents; her brother Jack Reed Palmer; foster sister Helen Stoneman; husband Robert Arnold Murray; and a son Steven Allen Sandbakken.

Please join us in the celebration of her life Friday the 20th of October 2017 at 11 a.m. at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg Idaho. The family will receive friends Friday morning from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home prior to services. Interment will be in the Rexburg Cemetery.
