George Carl Winkler was born January 26, 1939, in Rochester New York to George Francis and Ruth Mary Winkler, he passed away on June 24, 2022 in Rexburg Idaho. He was an avid outdoorsman where he enjoyed hunting and fishing with Pheasant hunting being his passion. He loved being in the fields with his dogs where he loved to watch them work the birds. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends whether it be camping or just hanging out in the backyard having a BBQ. George is survived by his daughters Cynthia Lundius (Gregory) and Victoria Mora (Michael Poff) and sons George Winkler (Natalie) and John Winkler (Shauna), 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parent's brother Jeffery (Jerry) Winkler. George may be gone but his memory will never be forgotten as his survivors and all who knew him will cherish the relationship they shared and the memories they made. Rest In Peace George.
