Giuseppe Casalino, 88 formerly of Italy, died June 13, 2018 at Madison Memorial Hospital. He was born May 11, 1930 in Triggiano, Italy to Giovanni and Maria Casalino.

Since he could walk he was taught to work. He was taught the art of pruning trees to cultivate the land. Life was hard; you earned your daily bread by the amount of work you put in each day.

He immigrated to Canada in the city of Winnipeg about 1971 and about a year later immigrated to America in the city of Chicago.

His life can be described with one word, "work" because that is all he did all of his life.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Casalino and a son, John Casalino both of Rexburg. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Maria.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 Monday, June 18, 2018 at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg, The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Rexburg Cemetery.
