Obituary

Grace Bohi Morgan Fullmer passed away peacefully in her home in Sugar City on November 10, 2016 at the youthful age of 93.

She was born to Hyrum and Gertrude McMinn Bohi on November 5, 1923 in Salem, Idaho. She was the second of three children. Grace grew up in Salem and graduated from Sugar-Salem High School. She married John Charless Morgan on April 2,1941 in Salem, Idaho. Their marriage was sealed for time and all eternity on November 5, 1952 in the Idaho Falls LDS temple. To this union, they were blessed with five children. John passed away in 1991 and Grace later married LaMar Fullmer, who passed away in 2008.

Grace worked at Harold's Drug in Sugar City for seven years. She also worked in the Sugar-Salem school district hot lunch program. Grace was known to many children as "The Hot lunch Lady". She served as supervisor for 25 years. Grace was president of the Idaho School Food Service Association. Some of her fondest memories were attending the conventions during this time.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many leadership positions, including Relief Society President and in the Stake Young Women's. She spoke fondly of going to girl's camp and working with the women of the church. Grace loved to attend the temple weekly with her friends.

Grace always loved flowers and gardening. Everywhere she lived she had beautiful flowers. She even won an award for the most beautiful yard in Sugar City. Grace loved to use her hands to make beautiful keepsakes for all of her family. Every grandchild and great-grandchild has been given a hand-crocheted blanket. Grace loved to cook and liked to try new recipes but was famous for her homemade rolls.

Grace valued the family unit. Days before her passing, she hosted her last monthly family dinner. These dinners were what held her family together and were looked forward to by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children; Blair (Lisa) Morgan of Salem, Sherry (Skip) Feely of Lake Stevens, WA, Craig (Debra) Morgan of Sugar City, Kerry (Emily) Morgan of Salem and Brenda (Mike) Landon of Idaho Falls; twenty grandchildren, fifty-five great-grandchildren and eight great- great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Paul Schwabedissen of Idaho Falls. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother; William Bohi, her sister; Betty Schwabedissen and a great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at the Sugar City 2nd ward chapel, 6 North Teton Avenue, with Bishop Michael Guymon officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg (61 North 1st East) and Wednesday at the church from Noon until 12:45 p.m. prior to services.
