Gregory Young Womack – March 27, 1949-March 22, 2013
He was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho on March 27, 1949 and passed away in Pocatello, Idaho on March 22, 2013 at the age of 63.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald L. Womack and Nedra J. Womack of Idaho Falls.
He is survived by his brother, Jeffrey L. Womack, sister-in-law, Gladys L. Womack, of Seaside, Oregon, his nephew, J. Scott Womack (Lauren), three grand-nephews (Archer, Zane and Judah) of Poulsbo, Washington and nephew, Matthew Sroufe of Corvallis, Oregon.
He graduated from Westminster College of Salt Lake City with B.S. in Music in 1972.
He worked for International Harvester Co. in Spokane, WA, and Ford Truck Dealers in Great Falls, MT and Billings, MT as a heavy duty truck salesman. He returned to Idaho Falls and owned Truck Sales & Leasing Co. with his father. His last working years were with School District 91 and Shelley School district as a bus driver.
He was a member of the Eagle Rock Masonic Lodge and El Korah Shrine.
He was a very accomplished musician and played music wherever he lived. He played with the Great Falls, the Billings and the Idaho Falls Symphony Orchestras during his musical career playing Alto Saxophone and Bassoon.
He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held in early May 2013.
