IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Harvey
Hunziker
November 25, 1924 – October 8, 2021
Harvey Hunziker, age 96, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, October 8, 2021 in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
He was born to Edwin Hunziker and Lizzie Chiles on November 25, 1924 in Madison Thornton, Idaho. He was the sixth of ten children.
Growing up without many of the comforts in life, he became a hard worker striving to get ahead. Since horses were the main form of transportation at the time, and he did not particularly like them, he purchased his first car at age 13 for $125 for which his parents often drove.
He grew up in Rexburg, ID where he met his wife, Dorothy Allen. They were married for 59 years before her passing, and were blessed with four beautiful children, Harvey, Sandy, Colleen, and Tearle.
Harvey was a quiet man but when he spoke people listened. He was a family man and often helped out family and friends in time of need. If you got to know him he had a great sense of humor and many witty one line quotes.
Harvey was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints his whole life and was sealed in the temple on 02 April 1968 to his wife Dorothy. He is survived by his daughter Sandy, 16 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren..
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, and 8 sisters.
