She was born November 8, 1976, in Rexburg, Idaho to Georgia Erickson and Scott Steinfeldt. She passed away June 11, 2017. As a young girl she lived with her family in several states including Utah, Idaho, Montana and Honolulu Hawaii.
She graduated from Billings Senior High School and attended Ricks College with her sister, Meegan, and served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Carlsbad, California.
She married Parry Thomas in the Idaho Falls Temple and they are the parents of Samuel, Jacob and Joseph. These three sons were her crowning glory. She said, "The best thing that ever happened to me was to be their mother!"
Perry and Heidi later divorced.
Heidi was a ray of sunshine and loved helping others. She was the kind of person that never met a stranger. She was always ready to talk to anyone about the gospel of Jesus Christ and let them know He loved them. She held various church callings and loved the outdoors especially hiking with her boys. She had a passion for dancing and was a Zumba instructor, teaching classes in Idaho Falls and Rexburg.
In the spring of 2017 she married Brian Ellsworth.
She is survived by her husband Brian, her three sons, two sisters, Meegan Russell of Queen Creek, Az; Candace Turley of Billings, Mt; one brother, Scott (Alyssa) Steinfeldt of Grand Island, Neb.; mother, Georgia Maria Erickson of Archer, ID; father, Scott (Mary) Steinfeldt of Butte, Mt; grandmother Annie Steinfeldt of Washington; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 17, at the Archer LDS Chapel with Bishop Blake Schwendiman officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment will be in the Archer Sutton Cemetery.
