Helen Ardis Pitman, 87 of Twin Groves, Idaho, died Monday, August 8, 2016 at home surrounded by family.
Helen was born April 8, 1929 in Torrington, Wyoming to Lawrence Gray and Marjorie Blanche Smith Pitman. She attended Torrington junior and senior high school in Wyoming, and Stevens Henegar College in Salt Lake City and Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho.
She married Leith Bradshaw on August 1, 1949 in Torrington, Wyoming. He died July 19, 1960. She married Jay Eldorus Loveland November 1, 1963 in St. Anthony, Idaho.
As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Helen served in many callings and especially loved serving in the nursery.
She raised goats and made soap. She loved vegetable and flower gardening and she made beautiful quilts. She made delicious bread and planned wonderful family reunions. She was a beloved wife, mother and friend.
Helen is survived by her husband, Jay, of Twin Groves, ID; children, Brenda Kay Bradshaw (James Howard) Martin, of Magnolia, AL; Susan Elaine Bradshaw (James Herbert) Chase, of St. Anthony, ID; Lora Lee Bradshaw, of St. Anthony, ID; Valerie Jean Bradshaw (Phillip W.) Baker, of Teton, ID; Cherie Ann Loveland (Randy) Flick, of West Valley, UT; Shauna Rae Bradshaw (David) Raby, of Wallsburg, UT; Karen Sue Loveland (Gary) Weaver, of Magnolia, TX; Barbara Lynn Bradshaw (Randal) Morris, of McCammon, ID; Laurie Loveland (Lynn) Carlson, of St. Anthony, ID; Michael Jay (Norese Parker) Loveland, of St. Anthony, ID; 63 grandchildren; 105 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 sisters, Jerolyn Juanita and Billie Louise.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Anthony LDS Stake Center with Bishop Wade Geisler officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Parker Cemetery under the direction of Bert Flamm Mortuary.
