Howard Joseph Jensen, 79, passed away February 1, 2025, peacefully from cancer at his home in Rexburg, ID. He was born to Rex Joseph Jensen and Vira Marie Hall on January 23, 1946, in Rexburg, ID.
Howard was raised in Burton and attended school in Burton and Rexburg, graduating in 1964. At a young age he discovered pure joy on a tractor, farming with his dad. Farming quickly became his first love. His second true love was his wife Jessie Rae. He married Jessie Rae Welker on November 6, 1964. He was blessed with 2 sons with whom he farmed and loved endlessly. He had one daughter that loved pushing his every button but he still loved with all his heart. He farmed and farmed and farmed until he passed away. During the winter Howard and Rae spent time in Arizona and loved the time they spent there and the friends they made. He earned his pilots license and loved sharing this talent with his family with many trips in the sky. He enjoyed his side by side and the trips out on the desert to 4 Forks Fort to shoot. He spent many hours reloading his own ammunition to stay out of Rae's hair. Believe it or not he finally found enjoyment in reading.
