Ilene F. Mason, 77, of Rexburg, beloved mother, wife, grandmother, and sister passed away peacefully on December 1, 2014 in Rexburg, after living most of her life in the Rexburg area. She was born June 1, 1937, in Hibbard, Idaho to Lavoy and Verla Newman Fisher.

She attended schools in the Rexburg area and graduated from Madison High School.

She married Kay Perrenoud on November 21, 1956. They had five children. They were later divorced. She married Jay Mason on January 15, 1988, in Rexburg. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.

She enjoyed her grandchildren, family, sewing, gardening, cake decorating, card games and softball.

She was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a temple mission in Santiago Chile with her husband. She is recognized and honored by many who love her.

She is survived by her children Doug (Lisa) Perrenoud, Jack Perrenoud, Robert (Rebecca) Perrenoud, Ron (Kathy) Perrenoud and Barbara (Hal) Gneiting; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Jay Mason and her parents.

The family would like to thank Heritage Homes in Rexburg for the loving care they have given her in her final years.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 4, at the Burton 2nd Ward LDS Chapel, 2332 West 2000 South, in Rexburg. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg and Thursday from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. at the church prior to services.
