Obituary

Irene Asenath Robertson Park was born October 16,1924, in Plano, Idaho to Orville Joseph and Sarah Hendricks Robertson. She passed away at her home on October 8,2011. She attended Edmunds Grade School and Edmunds High School.

She married Wilbur Lewis Park on January 19, 1942 in Dillon, Montana. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on August 19, 1965. She and her husband farmed for many years at Canyon Creek and later began a logging business which they operated until it was destroyed by the Teton Dam flood in 1976.

For twenty-five years, she and her husband spent their summers in Sugar City and their winters in Arizona. She loved the outdoors and spent many hours exploring the mountains and deserts around her.

She is survived by her daughters; Renea (Vic) Dunn, Deanna Peterson, Shauna (Bob) Archibald, Jackie (Lynn) Grover and Cindy (Mike) Van Wagner; brother, Keith (Carol) Robertson; 26 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, three sisters, and a brother.

At her request, family graveside services were held at the Sugar City Cemetery.
