IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jack
Perrenoud
January 31, 1959 – February 5, 2019
Jack Fischer Perrenoud was born January 31, 1959 in Rexburg to Kay H. and Ilene Fisher Perrenoud. He moved to Iona as a young child, and then back to Rexburg in the 3rd Grade. Jack was known as an adventurous child and a friend to many.
Jack had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed his countless family trips to Yellowstone and Island Park. He particularly enjoyed nature when seen from the seat of his Polaris 4-Wheeler or alongside a stream with a fishing pole in his hand. When at home, Jack enjoyed watching John Wayne and other old Westerns with his dad.
Jack is perhaps best known for his 28 years as a lobby attendant at the Rexburg McDonalds, where patrons were always ensured clean tables and a welcoming smile. Jack always looked forward to his friendship and mentoring from his buddy Trent Cichos.
Jack was a friend to everyone. Many of his closest friendships were developed at DWI and Journeys, where he attended for his day programs. Jack frequently went by the nickname "Troublemaker" and had a reputation as a joker and teaser. Jack was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where he provided service and shared his sweet spirit.
With the passing of his parents, Jack spent the last five years living with Andy and Lindsey Crossman in Rigby with their 4 kids and his roommates Eddie and Misty. Jack loved the Crossman children and frequently spoke of the fun that they had together.
Jack is survived by his siblings Doug (Lisa), Bob, Ron (Kathy), and Barbara (Hal), Celeste (Neil), Annette (Karl), Teresa (Paul), and Victor (Tanya), 25 nieces and nephews and 24 great nieces and nephews. Jack adored his "dozens" of nieces and nephews, and he loved to play with them at their family gatherings.
Jack passed away peacefully in the Crossman home the night of February 5 after a battle with cancer. The family would like to thank the Crossman family and OneSource Hospice for their loving service in caring for Jack during the final weeks of his life.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 9, at the LaBelle 1st Ward Chapel, 4223 East 528 North, in Rigby. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg, and Saturday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.
