Jackie Lyn Schwendiman Perry, 58, of Thornton, Idaho, passed away on May 25, 2024.

Jackie was born on July 9, 1965, in Rexburg, Idaho to Lynn Schwendiman and LeeAnn Kirkham. She grew up in Parker and Wilford, Idaho, and attended Teton Elementary, South Fremont Jr. High, and graduated from South Fremont High School.

She met her husband Jay Perry in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and they were married on April 1, 1992. They had their only child, Emily Perry, on September 9, 2001.

After high school, Jackie started her career in Jackson Hole, WY. She later returned to the St. Anthony area and began working at Walmart in Rexburg. She then worked for DWI in Rexburg and Idaho Falls, utilizing her crafting and sewing skills. She was known for her talent in crocheting and was passionate about teaching others.

Jackie is survived by her husband, Jay Perry; daughter, Emily Perry; brother, Cory Schwendiman of Redding, California; and sister, Lynda Deyo of St. Anthony, Idaho.

Jackie was preceded in death by her grandparents Lee and Bessie Kirkham, Norval and Artella Schwendiman, her parents Lynn and LeeAnn Schwendiman, her brother Kelly Schwendiman, and her nephew Matthew Deyo.

A service will be held in her honor on June 12, 2024, at 4 pm at the Rexburg South Stake Center.
