Jane Curtis
Maxine Jane Curtis, 77 of St. Anthony died Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at her home of natural causes.
She was born February 1, 1932 in Lyman, Idaho to Frank Abram and Berthena Clements Woolsey. She was raised in Rigby, Idaho where she attended school.
She married Clarence "Sweed" Gudmunson in 1950. They later divorced. She married Bud Roland Curtis in 1960 and they made their home in St. Anthony.
She earned her GED and then taught the GED course helping others earn their degree. Over the years she worked as a waitress and at Basic American Foods, taught Art classes and made and demonstrated crafts of all kinds.
She is survived by her children, JoAnn (Arlan) Jackson of Post Falls, ID; Robert Gudmunson of Helena, MT; Monty (Kim) Gudmunson of St. Anthony, ID; Judy (Steve) Wilson of Seattle, WA; Russell Curtis of St. Anthony, ID; sisters, Freda (Loraine) Pierce of Rigby, ID; Verginia Berthena (Harold) McCarmick of Ashton, ID; Dorthy Mae Walton of Rigby, ID; brothers, Jim Woolsey of Rigby, ID; Rubin Woolsey of Rigby, ID; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bud, and two sisters, Frankie Colleen Frandsen and Nancy Lou Lake.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. at Bert Flamm Mortuary (581 E. 1st N., St. Anthony). The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
