Obituary

With family by her side, Janet Brown was called home to the angels on March 23, 2021. Janet Lynne Dustin was born June 24, 1950 in Teton Valley, ID to Arvin and Margie Dustin. She was the oldest of two children.

She grew up fishing, snowmobiling, huckleberrying, and spending time with loved ones outdoors. She had a passion for flowers and anything that grew and she loved to spend time in the mountains.

She went to school in Teton Valley, ID until the age of thirteen when the family moved to Rexburg. She later graduated from Madison High School in Rexburg, ID. She attended Ricks College after high school and earned a degree in elementary education.

She met the love of her life, Gregory Ned Brown, and they were sealed in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on June 10, 1970. From this union came six amazing children.

She worked at Upper Valley Pediatrics as a receptionist. She also had a gift for growing flowers which led to her making and selling her own beautiful floral arrangements. Her kids always joked that she loved her flowers more than them.

She is survived by her loving husband Greg, her children Clint (Brodee) Brown, Shanda (Kody) Rigby, Cliff Brown, DanaLee (Dan) Babcock, Katie (Paul) Larsen, CJ (Kelsey) Brown, eighteen grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a grandson and her parents.

A graveside service for close friends and family will be held at the Plano Cemetery Friday, March 26, 2021 at 11 am.
