Janice Ann (Moores) Mackert, Age 66 of St. Anthony, ID, passed away peacefully at her home on May 4, 2025. She was born to Junior Lee and Zita Moores on March 16, 1959, in Grand Junction, CO. In Jan's early years she lived and worked in Gateway, CO, on a ranch and outfitting business. She was also a longtime resident of Fremont County, with many years spent working and living in Island Park, ID.

Jan lived for her family and friends. She was a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She was especially proud of and loved visiting her grandson, Briggs. Putting together large meals and hosting cousin parties were her specialty. Jan loved cooking, hunting, fishing, animals, snowmachining and helping anyone in need.

Jan was preceded in death by both parents, Lee and Zita Moores. She is survived by her son Hank (Casey) and grandson Briggs Mackert, of Island Park, ID. Jan also leaves behind her six siblings: June (Kane) Graves of Show Low, AZ; Julie (Kevin) Carlson of Aztec, NM; Jolene Robles of Boise, ID; Ted Moores of Draper, UT; Todd Moores of Kemmerer, WY; and Tarrel (Connie) Moores of Littleton, CO. Jan will be greatly missed.
