Margaret Janice Pierson, age 75, Returned to her Heavenly Father early in the morning of Dec. 27, 2021. Janice was born March 5, 1946 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Edward and Blanche Humerick. She graduated from Blackfoot High School. She married her sweetheart Ned Elray Pierson on January 24, 1964. Janice graduated from Ricks College in 1986.

Janice was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her younger brother.

Janice worked for the Rexburg Standard Journal until her retirement. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed doing family history.

Janice is survived by her children Ray (Julie) Pierson of Idaho Falls, Verland (Emily) Pierson of Las Vegas, Nev., Gaylen (Rhonda) Pierson of Smithfield, UT, Connie (Gary) Veach of Brookings, OR, David (Shalane) Pierson of Rexburg, and Denise Pierson of Rexburg. Her 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 3, 2022 at the Millhollow LDS Chapel by the Rexburg 18th Ward, 2nd counselor in the bishopric, Josh Davenport.

The family will have a viewing at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022 from 5 to 6:30 p.m and 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to service. Burial will be in the Rexburg Cemetery.
