Jason Elsberry, 49, of Lehi, Utah, formerly of Rexburg, Idaho, died August 5, 2022.  He was born July 11, 1973, in Rexburg, Idaho to Kathy Randall and Gary Lynn Elsberry.

Jason attended schools in Idaho and Arizona.  He developed a love of music in his early years. He had a beautiful tenor voice that he shared throughout his life. Jason graduated from Peoria High School in Peoria, Arizona in 1991.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served a mission in the Chile Santiago South Mission where he developed a love for the people and their language.

After his mission he attended BYU in Provo, Utah where he earned his Bachelor Degree in Computer Science. He was a programmer and worked in software development for different companies in Utah.

He was married to Nora Gardner.  Three beautiful children were born to this union, Jonah, Asher and Eden. Jason and Nora later divorced.

Jason enjoyed staying fit and active.  He went to the gym regularly to exercise and lift weights. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed biking and hiking with his family.

Jason was always kind and selfless.  He was always putting others, and their needs before himself.

He is survived by his children, Jonah Elsberry (21), Asher Elsberry (17) and Eden Elsberry (5); mother, Kathy (Val) Moss; father, Gary Elsberry; siblings, Bryon (Mindi) Elsberry, Shane (Mandy) Elsberry, and Allen Elsberry.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward and Leah Randall, and Claude and Emily Elsberry.

Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 20, at the Rexburg South Stake Center, with Bishop Bobbie Heiner officiating.  Interment will be in the Sutton Cemetery.
