Javier Arteaga Correa (Chicho), un amoroso esposo, padre e hijo, falleció el 2 de agosto de 2025, a los 37 años, haciendo lo que más amaba: rodeado de la naturaleza.

Nació el 17 de enero de 1988 en Zacatecas, México, hijo de Gabriel y Guadalupe Arteaga, siendo el cuarto de cinco hermanos. Para Chicho, la familia lo era todo, y era más feliz cuando estaba rodeado de sus seres queridos, compartiendo risas y haciendo travesuras con sus hermanos.

A los 16 años, Chicho se mudó a Idaho, donde, a los 19, conoció al amor de su vida, Maribel García. Juntos construyeron una hermosa vida y una familia llena de amor y alegría. Su mayor bendición fueron sus tres hijos: Anthony (18), Víctor (15) y Jazlyn (8), su mayor orgullo y la luz de su vida.

Chicho vivió su vida al máximo. Como copropietario de Blade Plastering and Stucco, trabajó incansablemente para brindar lo mejor a su familia, pero siempre encontraba tiempo para crear recuerdos llenos de risas, aventuras y música. Su gran corazón, su cálida sonrisa y su espíritu juguetón tocaron a todos los que lo conocieron. Quien conocía a Chicho, lo amaba.

Le sobreviven su esposa amada Maribel, sus queridos hijos Anthony, Víctor y Jazlyn, sus padres Gabriel y Guadalupe Arteaga, y sus hermanos: Gabriel (Brenda), Sergio (Mari Claudia)

Antonio (Miranda) y Socorro (Humberto Vásquez). También lo recuerdan con amor sus suegros Ramón y María García, sus cuñados Gerardo (Susana) y Tony (Jessica), sus cuñadas Fabiola (Ignacio) Cortez y Rosie (Israel) Pérez, así como numerosos sobrinos, tíos, primos y demás familiares.

Chicho fue precedido en muerte por sus abuelos Víctor y Petra Arteaga y Antonio y Adelina Correa, así como por sus sobrinos Gabriel Arteaga Jr. y Gerardo (Junior) García.

Chicho deja un vacío imposible de llenar, pero su espíritu vivirá para siempre en las risas, el amor y los recuerdos que creó con quienes tuvieron la fortuna de conocerlo.

Javier Arteaga Correa, (Chicho) was a loving husband, Father, and son.  He passed away at age 37, on August 2, 2025 doing what he loved most with nature surrounding him.

Chicho, son of Gabriel and Guadalupe Arteaga, was born on January 17, 1988, in Zacatecas, Mexico. He was the 4th child of 5 siblings.  Chicho loved his siblings, and for him, family fun was all about love and pranks.

Chicho moved to Idaho at a young age. He was only 16, and at 19, he found the love of his life Maribel Garcia. Through every challenge and triumph, Chicho and Maribel's love will always shine bright, reflected in the happiness of their three precious children they had together. Chicho's greatest accomplishment? It's clear - creating these beautiful souls with the love of his life.

Chicho Arteaga lived life to the fullest, always working hard to provide for his family (Co-Owner of Blade Plastering and Stucco ) while also finding joy in every moment. His smile, laughter, and big heart will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a teddy bear inside with a love for adventure, music, and pushing people's buttons just to get a good laugh.  Chicho leaves a void that can never be filled, but his spirit will live on in the memories of those who loved him.

Javier (Chicho) is survived by; His loving wife Maribel Garcia, son Anthony Arteaga (18 ), son Victor Arteaga (15), daughter Jazlyn Arteaga (8), Parents Gabriel and Guadalupe Arteaga, Siblings; Gabriel (Brenda) Arteaga,  Sergio (Mari Claudia )Arteaga, Antonio (Miranda) Arteaga, Socorro (Humberto) Vásquez.  And in-laws Ramón and María García,  Brother-In-Laws;  Gerardo (Susana) García, Tony (Jessica) Garcia, Sister In-laws; Fabiola (Ignacio) Cortez, Rosie (Israel) Perez, and many nephews and nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins.

He was preceded in death by his  grandparents: Victor and Petra Arteaga , Antonio and Adelina Correa, Nephews; Gabriel Arteaga JR, Gerardo (Junior)Garcia.
