Jean Cooper Kunz, 89, of Victor, Idaho, died September 3, 2010 at her home in Victor. Jean was born June 12, 1921, in Rexburg , Idaho to Drue C. and Calanthe Smith Cooper. She spent her childhood in Rexburg and Pratt Ward.
She graduated from Teton High School and graduated from Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho.
She married Duane H Kunz in Billings, Montana and their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple.
She served her church, her community and her family. She loved her family dearly and we will all miss her. She touched many lives.
Survivors include her children: Karleen (Terry) Kerswell of Idaho Falls, Marlys Larsen of Smithfield, Utah, Craig (Chris) Kunz of Victor, Jeannie (Jim) Durtschi of Syracuse, Utah, Dean H.(Karen) Kunz of Rexburg, Idaho, Drue C. (Roseann) Kunz of Smithfield, Utah, and Kami (Kelly) Van Orden of Swan Valley, Idaho; a foster son, David (Sarah) Rogers of Springville, Utah: 34 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren; brother, C. Dick (Carma) Cooper of Rexburg, Idaho and sister, Betty C. (Dale) Kunz of Salem, Idaho.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane H. Kunz, a son-in-law, a granddaughter, a grandson and a great-grandson.
This charming daughter of our Heavenly Father has blessed the lives of many with her quiet cal, demeanor. Her life was full of learning, teaching and serving while inspiring those around her in a creative loving way. She is dearly loved and tenderly missed.
Funeral Services will be, 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 6th at the Victor LDS Chapel. Family will receive friends from 11:30 to 12:45 prior to services at the church.
Burial will be in the Cedron Cemetery under the direction of Flamm Funeral of Rexburg, Idaho.
