Jenny Huskinson passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2017, at her home in Rexburg
surrounded by her family, after a courageous fight against pancreatic cancer.
She was born on September 10, 1952, to Lenox R. Finlinson and Arline (Rose) Finlinson Palmer
in Payson, UT. On April 20, 1973, she married Randy Scott Huskinson in Orem, UT and they were sealed on April 22, 1974, in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they raised four children: Jessica, Andria, Jill, and Michael in Rexburg, ID.
Her life was filled with things she loved: her husband, Randy, her children and grandchildren, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She touched many lives through personal friendships, serving in the church in any capacity and her countless hours of volunteer service in the community.
She enjoyed nature's beautiful sunsets and the peace they brought her. She loved being a homemaker, cooking for her family, gardening, her flowers and decorating her home. She had a zest for life and was an inspiration to all who came in contact with her. One of her greatest joys was serving a mission with her husband in Uganda, Africa. She grew to love the people of Uganda and learned the true meaning of selfless service to her fellow men.
She is survived by her husband Randy, her children Jessica (Nathan) Jacobson, Andria Huskinson, Jill Shirley and Michael (Alyse) Huskinson. her grandchildren Natalia, David, Zach, Ava and Abbi Jacobson; Anna, Ozzy and Paul Shirley; and Addie, Leah and Lenox Huskinson. She is also survived by her siblings RoseAnn (Lynn) Clayton, Kitt (Elayne) Finlinson and Ralph (Cheri) Finlinson as well as her brother and sister-in-laws Pam (Scott) Neville, Ken (Kathryn) Huskinson, Teresa (Steve) Wynne and many nieces and nephews who she held dear.
She was proceeded in death by her father Lenox R. Finlinson and mother Arline Palmer. She always felt she was better by knowing those she came in contact with. Her infectious laugh and love will be missed.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 22, at the Rexburg East Stake Center. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Flamm Funeral Home and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the stake center. Burial will be in the Sugar City Cemetery.
