JoAnn Harvey

JoAnn Bevan Harvey passed away peacefully on Friday, Oct. 23, 2026. She was 90 years old. JoAnn was born on May 21, 1936, in Tooele, Utah. The youngest of six children, she enjoyed many adventures with her older siblings and loved spending time with them. Some of her favorite childhood memories included summers spent at the family ranch in Driggs, Idaho.

She met Richard Harvey while he was working as a lifeguard at the Tooele pool. They were married a few years later on June 10, 1954.

JoAnn was dedicated to her family. She loved nothing more than family parties and reunions, both planning them and attending them. There was always some kind of family gathering or picnic in the works.

JoAnn was a wonderful housewife and mother. Her desserts were legendary, especially her cinnamon rolls. She loved holidays and made sure every child and grandchild was celebrated.

JoAnn was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed serving in many callings, including Relief Society President and Primary President. She served in the Manchester, New Hampshire mission with her husband, Richard, where they worked at the Alfred County Courthouse microfilming Probate Records.

The family would like to thank Aspen Hospice nurses Krystal, Shelly, and Natalie for their kindness and dedication to helping JoAnn during her final years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and husband. We can easily imagine the joyful reunion taking place. We are sure JoAnn is already planning an exceptional family party.

JoAnn is survived by her children, Trina Cook, Becky (Ron) Hunter, Dan (Dawn) Harvey, and Nancy (Gerald) Robinson; 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

The family will be gathering at Sutton Cemetery on Friday, Oct. 30th at 3:00 pm for a brief graveside service.
