Obituary

Joella Jean Everett, age 61, went home to be with her Lord on June 7, 2010.

Joella was born September 10, 1948 in Galvasten, Texas, the daughter of Jack Heiman and Mildred Corithers. She grew up in Texas. In 1966 she met and married Randy Everett. In 1979 they moved to Idaho to build a church which in now Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church.

She was a wonderful pastor's wife, mother, grandmother and a true friend to everyone. She devoted her life to serving the Lord, the church and her family. She was a caring, compassionate woman whom everyone loved. She was a strong and determined woman and willing to help anyone in need. She worked for the Madison School District for 27 years. She was a hard worker and loved what she did.

She is survived by her husband Randy Everett, of St. Anthony, ID; her children John (Mandi) Everett, of Pocatello, ID; Robert Everett, of Idaho Falls, ID; Connie (Ted) Hansen, of Ashton, ID; Amanda (Jamey) Chase, of Rigby, ID; her mother Mildred Corithers, two brothers Steve Heiman and Doyle "Bubba" Heiman and two sisters, Angela Todd and Jackie Heiman all of Texas. Also her grandchildren, Damian Everett, Tucker and Tanner Leavitt, Austin and Ian Everett, Jacob, Joey and Jennifer Hansen, and Caleb, Andrew, Marissa and KateLynne Chase.

She is preceded in death by her father, Jack Heiman and a grandson Dusty "Boots" Hansen.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at the Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church, 1816 North Hwy 33, Sugar City, ID. Friends may visit at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg, Friday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and at the church from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. prior to services. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Sugar City Cemetery following services.
