Joyce Willmore Bell, 69, of Washington, Utah and formerly of Rexburg, Idaho, died August 22, 2016 of natural causes. She was born in Rexburg, Idaho on May 5, 1947 to James Leslie Willmore and Fawn Hendricks Willmore. She was the baby of the family and loved her older siblings Lola, Lois, and Jay. Joyce loved living part of the year in Rexburg and the rest of the year on a dry farm in Clementsville in the Teton Valley.
Joyce graduated from Madison High School in 1965. She graduated from beauty school in 1966. She married her junior high and high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Dick O. Bell on July 1, 1966. Together they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this summer with a trip to Europe.
Joyce and Dick moved many times throughout their marriage. They lived in Utah, California, Idaho, and Washington. Upon retirement they served two missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to the Marshall Islands and Tallahassee, Florida.
Joyce had four children, Brandy, Blake, Kimberly, and Quentin. She was a devoted mother who lived for her children. Joyce's greatest joy was her grandchildren. She was so excited to be a grandmother and loved her grandchildren very much.
Joyce was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many callings including Young Women's President, Relief Society President, Stake Relief Society President, and Primary teacher. She loved the gospel and was an example to all who were around her.
Joyce loved to travel and was able to visit many places around the world. She loved learning about new cultures and was always willing to go somewhere new. She was especially excited to visit grandchildren to watch them in their various activities.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Dick, children Brandy (Brian) Rollins, Blake (Kim) Bell, Kimberly (Bil) Etcheverry, and Quentin (Melissa) Bell. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, her two sisters, and her brother. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2016, at the Rexburg 4th Ward Chapel, 166 South 1st East, in Rexburg. The family will receive friends Saturday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment will be in the Rexburg Cemetery under the direction of Flamm Funeral Home.
