Joyce H. Berry, 89, of Rexburg, died Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at her home, under the care of Encompass Hospice, surrounded by her family.

Joyce was born June 5,1925, in Rexburg to Charles T. Hilton and Ester Jensen. She was raised in the Sugar-Salem area . She worked at the Romance Theater and First Security Bank.

After World War II she married her high school sweetheart Blair Kimble Berry on February 14,1947. Together they built and owned Blair's Oil Inc. which served the Rexburg area for more than twenty years. After retiring from the oil business she enjoyed traveling the west with her husband on motorcycles. Joyce was an example to all who knew her. She was always there for her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Janet B. Parker, a grandson, Blair K (Jennifer) Hill and three great grandchildren; Blaze, Ashley and Candace Hill all of Rexburg. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and brothers; Elden, Glen, Darwin, Clyde and Ivan Hilton.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at the Cresthaven Chapel, 1070 South 2nd East, in Rexburg. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the church prior to services. Interment will be in the Annis Little Butte cemetery.
