Julia Dayle Powell, 80, of Rexburg, died April 15, 2024. She was born September 7, 1943 in Rexburg to Arthur and Almira Kerswell.

Julia went to school at Washington Elementary and graduated from Madison High School.

She was a stay at home mother until she started working at Artco. She was able to travel with her sweetheart Vaune of 61 years. She loved to read and scrapbook and enjoyed all her grandchildren.

Julia is survived by her daughters, Julie (Brett) Hancock of Rexburg, Jane (Joel) Johnson of Rigby, Tamra (Shawn) Steel of Stansbury Park, Utah. Her siblings Jack (Sharon) Kerswell, Terry Kerswell, and Sandra (Russell) Bott. As well as her nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Vaune, two brothers and four sisters.

Viewing will be held on Sunday, April 21, from 5:30 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. the funeral service will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024 at 1:00p.m. at Flamm Funeral Home with a viewing held prior from 12:00 p.m. till 12:45 p.m.
