Julie Lynn Farley, 59, of Parker, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017.
She was born January 20, 1958, in Rigby, Idaho to Gerald Jay and Bonnie June Byington Chapple. She grew up in Ririe and Utah. She then moved back to Ririe and there graduated High School. She married Jon W. Farley on November 5, 1982 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
She enjoyed crafting with wood and was very skilled. Many people have her woodwork adorning their homes. Julie enjoyed sewing and gardening. She worked in potato harests for over 30 years until her health deteriorated too much to be ale to continue.
She was active in sports and bowling leagues with friends for many years. She served in many callings in her wards faithfully and diligently. She served her fellow man selflessly and with grace. She gave so much of herself even when there wasn't much to give.
Her family was her pride and joy. She loved fiercely and was loved in return.
She is survived by her husband Jon of Parker, ID; children, Austin
(Chantell) Farley of St. Anthony, ID; Eric (Stephanie) Farley of Parker, ID; Kace (Sierra) Farley of Rexburg, ID; Bryten Farley of Parker, ID; and Denae (Michael) Forsgren of Parker,ID; and 8 grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother Bonnie June Chapple of Ririe, ID; and sister Cindy (Steve) Hickman of Ririe, ID. She was preceded in death by her brother, Clint Chapple and her father, Gerald Jay Chapple.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. in the Parker LDS Chapel. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. both times at the church. Burial will be in the Parker Cemetery under the direction of Bert Flamm Mortuary.
