June Ellen Nelson Cox, 67 of St. Anthony, passed away on December 6, 2025.

She was born January 27, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois to Lonnie and Grethera June Warren Nelson. She was raised and attended schools in Linden, Perry Co., Tennessee. She received her Master's degree from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee.

While living in Tennessee June ran The Old Country Store in Linden. After moving to Idaho in 1981 she worked at Snow Balls Café in Swan Valley. After she earned her Master's Degree she started working in the Mental Health field.

She married Duain Lee Cox on August 27, 2002 in Rexburg, Idaho. He passed away on November 8, 2021.

She enjoyed writing and had some of her books published. She was an avid reader and faithfully studied the scriptures and was always a Christ like servant to others, especially those in need.

She loved her time spent with family, especially her grand babies.

She is survived by children, D'mitry (Gloria) Cox, Theresa (Zack) Miner, Shane (Theresa) Cox. Brothers, James Nelson and Jimmy Nelson. Two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Fred, Ricky and Tammy.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
