Justin Kade Higley, 33, died April 23,2017 at his home in Salt Lake City. He was born May 30,1983 in Rexburg Idaho. He is the son of Donetta Steiner. Kade was raised in Rexburg and graduated from Madison High School in 2001. He also attended Boise State University. He then moved to Ashton and was employed at Dave's Jubilee and then worked at Jackson's Food in Ashton as assistant manager. He then transferred to Pocatello, Idaho Falls and Salt Lake City, Utah. In Pocatello and Salt Lake City he was store manager.

Kade enjoyed music, video games, camping and fishing and being outdoors. He is survived by his mother; Donetta Steiner (Gene), sisters; Riki (Jerrami) Marotz and Britany (Dan) Jakubowski and half siblings; John Higley, Christy King, Dallas Higley, Dorinda Higley and nieces Karlee and Katie Marotz.

He is preceded in death by grandparents; Vernon and Donna Steiner, best friend Austin Wright and beloved dog Kallie.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 5, 2017 at the Pineview Cemetery in Ashton. The family will receive friends Thursday at Baxter Funeral Home in Ashton (717 Main Street) from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. and Friday at the funeral home from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to leaving for the cemetery. A Kade Higley Memorial Fund has been set up at Keybank to help with final expenses.
