Karen Estelle Brewer Burtcher, 59 of St. Anthony, died Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Teton Post Care and Rehabilitation in Idaho Falls.
Karen was born on April 19, 1959 in Miami, Arizona to Roy Arthur and Phyllis Sheri Sweat Brewer. She lived most of her life in Arizona with her brothers and sisters in towns such as Miami, Winslow and Joseph City.
She was an accomplished painter, crafter and stain glass artist.
She has been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and married her husband, Bruce Marshall Burtcher, in the Arizona temple. Karen was also a genealogist and had researched over 2500 names which were sent of various Temples throughout the world.
She is loved by many and will be missed.
She is survived by her husband Bruce; two sons, Johnny and Joey Hardin; a daughter, Laura Hardin Ooten. Step-children Eric Burtcher, Phillip Burtcher, Allan Burtcher, Shelley Westover, Marshall Burtcher, Daisy James, Ronald Burtcher and Janet El-kher; over 30 grandchildren; Siblings, Rodney Brewer, Charlie Brewer, Sheri Proskow, Jeff Brewer, Linda Brewer, Cheryl Rawson and Roy Brewer. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Harry Brewer.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Anthony 2 nd Ward Chapel, 145 E. 1 st N. The family will receive friends on Wednesday December 26 th from 5:30 until 7:00 p.m. at Bert Flamm Mortuary, 581 E. 1 st N. and on Thursday from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Interment will be in the Parker Cemetery.
