Obituary

Katherine Bell Duffin passed away June 26, 2013 at her daughter's home in Rexburg from renal failure.
She was born November 21, 1942 the third child to Lewis Glen Kington and Myrtle Mae Gravely in Dillon Montana.

She attended schools in
Dillon, Helena, graduated high school from Glendive, a year at BYU-Hawaii and in 1975 received her teaching degree from the UofM in Missoula.

In 1960 she married Ralph Kirk Parmenter. They lived in
Missoula, Seeley Lake, Helmville, Salmon, Nampa, and Boise. They had three children and later divorced. In 1978 she married Grover Dale Duffin. They

Katherine was active in the LDS church and loved the gospel of
Jesus Christ. She served in any calling she was given and gave her whole heart. She wrote poetry and music and was published many times. Service was her motto
and she loved helping others and especially children. She and Dale were foster parents to many and helped many refugees get settled. She always looked for the good in people and was never judgmental which enabled her to help many who others had given up on.

Attending the temple and doing family history brought her great
joy. She and Dale served a mission for the LDS church in Salt Lake at the Family History Center in 1998-99. Her life was filled with joy because of her family especially her 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
