Katherine Jeanetta Remington Stocks was born February 12, 1945 to Charles Afton & Ellen Eliza Gardner Remington. She was the youngest of 4 children.

She grew up in St. Anthony, attended Parker-Egin Elementary, South Fremont High school and received a bachelor's degree at Ricks College. She met the love of her life Rex Wayne Stocks and was married February 26th, 1965. They had 3 children Rhonda, Justin and Veneda.

She held several different jobs in her life working for JJ Remington & Sons, Carters Department store, Farm Bureau Insurance, Dairy Queen, Kmart, Rite Aide and Melaleuca.

She loved horses, rodeo and 4H. One year she had 23 kids in her 4H group. She supported her girls in their horse showing, rodeoing and their 4H horse project. She was their best cheering section. She enjoyed supporting her son cheering him in his drag racing. The roar of the drag car engine sure gets the blood pumping.

One of her favorite times was when Bob & Lola Kay Mace called and asked her to drive a spud truck for them. That was a highlight for her. She loved every minute of being in the truck and smelling the fresh dug spuds and dirt.

She loved her family & grandchildren and seeing her Great grandchildren grow. She loved to hear her grandchildren's adventures and to help guide them during the tough times. She took care of her husband for several years until October 5, 2020, her heart was broken when her beloved husband of 55 years passed away. She has been lost without him.

Katherine has 11 grandchildren - Jerome, Wesley, Kristina,Reese, Dakota, Teagen, James, Alaca, Dalton, Makayla and Brooke. She has 6 great grandchildren that she loved dearly and brought joy to her life- Evan, Maelynn, Drayden, Addee, Whitlee & Dawson. She said "Being A Grandma and Great Grandma is the best thing in life."

Mom, Grandma & Great Grandma passed away January 3rd, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Rex Stocks, her parents Charles & Ellen Remington, older brother Gale Remington, older sister Marjorie Coleman, Brothers in law Perry Lovell, Dennis Stocks and Bish Statham, and sisters in law Lucile, Annalee, Glenna and Ila Rae.

She is survived by her children and their spouse's , grandchildren and their spouse's and great grandchildren; Rhonda (Donnie) Hulse - St. Anthony, ID, Justin (Mindy) Stocks - Tremonton, UT, Veneda (Mike) Jones - St. Anthony, ID; Jerome (Amanda) Brown, Kristina Brown & Drew Gould, Reese (Kaeleigh) Brown, Alaca (Rusty) Davis, Wesley (Mariena) Jones, Brooke Hulse & Caleb, Dakota Stocks, Teagen Stocks, Dalten (Chantel) Stocks, Makaela Stocks and James Robinson; "GrandMonsters", Maelynn Davis, Drayden Gould, Addee Brown, Whitlee Brown, Evan & Dawson Jones; And Oldest Sister Laren Lovell - Utah & Island Park.

"Don't be sad that I am gone. I am not in pain, I am not sick. I am with Grandpa Rex watching over you as you grow. Times will be hard but I know you will get through them because you are strong and resourceful. Remember the good times, the fun times and all the love and laughter we shared.
